1. 浏览器上的提醒工具

Google Chrome

Google为Chrome写了一个Gmail提醒工具 Google
Mail Checker. 你可以在 Chrome Webstore https://chrome.google.com/webstore/ 搜索。还有另外一个扩展，叫One
Number ，可以同时显示你的Gmail，Google Reader，Google Voice，Google
Wave的未读消息条数。

如果你不想装扩展，而且保持Gmail的页面总是打开，Google
Chrome有个Desktop
Notification的功能，你可以在Gmail的设置里面启用它，在General标签里面，【只有Chrome才能看到这个设置的】

Mozilla Firefox

Firefox的Gmail提醒扩展也有蛮多选择，在Firefox的菜单里打开附加组件，然后搜索Gmail，有好几个，Gmail
Watcher，Gmail Checker，Gmail Manager。

2. Google Talk软件的新邮件提醒

Google Talk的官方客户端提供了新邮件提醒的功能，前往http://www.google.com/talk/ 下载客户端就可以使用了。【只支持Windows】

安装好了后，可以在Settings >>
Nofication里面关掉提醒。

3 Google Notifier

如果你用的是Mac系统。可以在下载 Google Notifier for
Mac

TIP:

这些提醒工具显示的都是Gmail的未读数,有时候这些提醒工具提醒你有未读邮件,可是你找不到它们,可以搜索 label:unread
,把那些未读的邮件标记为已读就好了.
